Make history outta our ignorance and blindness
Make victory outta our hatred and foolishness
Sleep with one eye open and the other closed
Because your mind is slightly over dosed
With thoughts, with words, with horrid emotions
Who do we blame?
Who do we put to shame?
Our wild minds we are trying so hard to tame
Memories we try to forget but always remember when it came
Right back into our sub consciousness
We punish ourselves with penalties and penance
We blame it on human nature, on the rules and principles
We remember that we are just like Jesus disciples
We do have some flaws and we make some mistakes
Storming every little bit of the weather
Working alone and hating to be together
Changing situations that seem to go on forever
We feel the never ending sting
We let them pierce our hearts like bees out in spring
Laugh and cry
Live and die
Steal and kill
Do these to only yourself and not another
Because u gatta make the best outta you before another
Let your crime be cured by punishment
As our sins be cured with penance
These are penalties of life we pay
Sleepless nights, cold mornings, unrested minds, ill hearts
Gather around your beliefs, hopes and faith
It might do little or no justice to the speed of your heart beat rate
As you run in this endless journey of continuous struggle
To be somebody, not anybody
To go somewhere, not anywhere
To discover who you truly are
And who you wanna be
Trapped in chains
Or living the fast life like an unstoppable train
Making it through the rain
Building a bridge through your pain
Let the world’s philosophies
We let fill our memories
Not be the sole purpose of our victories
Let’s make histories
